Another blog post from Ann Arbor chiropractor Mike Tannenbaum, D.C.

Why choose chiropractic care over other forms of health care? Well, where do I begin? – as there are many reasons. Basically, though, chiropractic is an extremely effective, safe, and conservative form of healthcare. Of course, in this sense, conservative means cautious not anything political!

Most chiropractors specialize in helping people get rid of back pain, neck pain, and headaches. The role of chiropractic care for these three conditions has been thoroughly researched, with the finding that chiropractic is a highly effective treatment for them. In addition, it has been found that chiropractic is adept at both healing and promoting wellness, while being a cost-effective form of health care. In addition, unlike most medical approaches, chiropractic doesn't use drugs or surgery. Chiropractic care, as mentioned earlier, is conservative in nature, and its treatment modalities are noninvasive. In contrast, the medical field uses surgery or drugs to attempt to resolve health problems, which in many cases don't get to the root of the problem. Instead, these approaches mask the problem or literally cut the root of the problem out without fixing the cause. On the other hand, chiropractic uses relatively gentle, high-velocity, low-impact “adjustments” that are extremely safe and work to fix the root of the problem.
