~~From the office of Ann Arbor Chiropractor Michael Tannenbaum, D.C.
Feeling chronically tired is a common complaint and can be caused by a variety things one of which is fatigued adrenal glands. A cause of fatigued/over taxed adrenal glands is emotional stress. Your adrenal glands are responsible for producing important hormones that help keep you healthy. If fatigued (possibly due to stress) your adrenal glands may not produce hormones as they should which can result in a number of negative symptoms that often includes feeling chronically tired. Other signs of adrenal glands not producing hormones as they should are as follows:
Becoming easily nervous and/or frustrated.
Trouble thinking clearly
Not able to go back to sleep after waking from a few hours of sleep.
High or low blood pressure
There are ways that may get your adrenal glands to work as the should. Often appropriate nutritional therapies as well mental health therapy can do the trick. This is something you'll need to research and of course use professional sources in your research.
