Labor Day is just about upon us and that means cooler weather is around the corner. With the temperatures dropping people exercise less. This is unfortunate, because for good health one should be exercising year round. So, basically this is a call to exercise year round instead of only when the weather is warm. You don't have to join a gym or go outside to work out through out the year. For minimum cost you can purchase all the equipment you'll need get a solid amount of exercise in your home. Some things you might want to get for a safe and effective workout is a PT ball (big round rubber ball that you can sit on and use as a low impact exercise and stretching device) rubber stretch bands (one brand is called Thera Band) that can be used for strength (eccentric/concentric) exercises and stretching and a jump rope for aerobic exercise. You then can find a reputable internet workout site(s) that will show you how to use some or all these tools to get a great workout (including a great aerobic work out) in your home. You also will want to peruse the internet for a reputable site(s) that offers advise on a good stretching program that you can follow to complement your exercise regime.
