From The Desk of Ann Arbor Chiropractor, Mike Tannenbaum, D.C.
Chiropractic can do much more then get rid of nerve related problems like back pain and neck pain. Chiropractic can eliminate other nerve related problems such as headaches, tingling and numbness in the arms, legs, hands and feet. Chiropractic has also been shown to be helpful in eliminating or reducing nerve related problems such as asthma, acid reflux and irritable bowel syndrome. Nerve interference in the body ultimately results in tissues, organs and systems of the body becoming unhealthy and not functioning properly. Chiropractic works to remove the nerve interference and thus reinstate the correct nerve input. Removing the nerve interference results in not only reduced musculature pain, but also helps fix organ related problems. For example, an improperly functioning organ that is not functioning properly due to nerve interference to that organ, will function properly if the nerve interference is removed. So, a person that had asthma due to improper nerve input to their bronchi and/or lungs may find they rid themselves of the asthma if the incorrect nerve input is removed and proper nerve input is established.
